Join our walking groups to get a better walking experience. It is a low impact physical activity that decreases your blood pressure and your blood sugar, improves mood and energy.

The group meets at the Woodbine FHT Clinic located at 306 Rexdale Blvd in Etobicoke. [In winter, the group meets at Woodbine Mall, 500 Rexdale Blvd. at the Fantasy Fair entrance to the mall, with the Farris wheel] 

Poles and snacks are provided. Don’t like the poles, no problem – just come walk with us. Come out and get active!!

2024 Spring Launch of the Woodbine FHT Walking Group

Gain some information about Nordixx Pole Walking, go for a trial walk with the poles, then return to Woodbine FHT for lunch.

Where: Ester Lorrie Park, 50 Westhumber Blvd, Toronto (we walk year round, get details from Michelle for where to meet in Winter)

When: Every Monday and Wednesday 9:30AM start (arrive early so we can leave on time)

There is a beginner/slow placed group and the more seasoned walking group

(When starting out out with us, a medical clearance is needed for those with chronic conditions such as heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension, uncontrolled diabetes, COPD, recent stroke or heart attack, Parkinson’s disease, and/or recent joint replacement surgery.)
