PPD & ME: A group for new parents struggling with Postpartum depression

Becoming a new parent can be difficult. Up to 15% of new parents can experience postpartum depression. Postpartum depression can begin during pregnancy, or right after birth anytime within the first year. Postpartum depression can cause feelings of intense sadness, despair, a loss of interest or pleasure in activities one used to enjoy, worried or anxious thoughts, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, fears of being a bad parent, and more. If you are a new parent experiencing any of these symptoms, this group can help improve your understanding of postpartum depression, and develop skills and techniques to help reduce symptoms and work to improving your current emotional state.
